Sweatshirt Fleece Knit fabric is a knitted fabric that features brushed on one side, (usually the inside of a garment), and a smooth, soft surface on the other side. The result is an absorbent, heavy-weight material that's super comfortable to wear. It's often made from 100% cotton, or a blend of cotton with percentage of polyester, elasthane,lycra or spandex. New sustainable Sweatshirt Fleece Fabric might even feature organic cotton or BCI Cotton fibers!
The Most common type of Sweatshirt fleece is knitted on a gauge 18 with two cotton yarns as ground and tie-in loops and another polyester yarn as fleecy loop to have fabric weight around 220-260gr/m2. To produce heavier Sweatshirt fleece knit fabrics we use 20 gauge. In circular knitting, the fleece is also known as Sweatshirt fleece. We use three types of knitted loops to form a strength ability.
